We start our process with precision laser cutting of premium steel. All cuts are controlled with precise programming providing unmatched quality and precision. The structural components are precisely welded with our state of the art automated welding system. Once the press body is complete it goes in for powder coat paint and bakes in the oven, providing a durable and lasting finish.
Pressure and Safety
The Precision Rosin Press is manufactured with CE and ISO standards and we take operational safety very seriously. Keeping in mind that Precision Rosin Press is a industrial hydraulic press that exerts 21.5 Tons (Calibrated to our ram diameter and plate size) of pressure and heats up to 300F, we implemented industry leading safety features. At 21.5T Pressure an alarm will go off indicating to stop pressing and that structural damage may occur if it increased pressure continues. The control panel will also notify users when plates reach desired temperatures and are ready for pressing.
The Precision Rosin Press is built to function with temperatures up to 300 °F, providing one of the highest max temps available on today’s market. The aluminum plates are coated with food grade material to prevent a natural blackening effect from occurring, while simultaneously increasing the heating plates life. Software will control the heating elements of each individual plate, and our state of the art algorithm will automatically adjust top and bottom plate temperatures by taking into account readings from both plates and outside physical changes that alter plate temperatures.
We wanted programming flexibility and the ability to upgrade a device for a longer shelf life. We decided to do away with pre-manufactured controllers and introduce an Arduino based controller to the Rosin Community. This USB updatable controller brings flexibility and innovative options to your production process. One of the new features is our timer is activated when a selected tonnage is reached. This will allow you to provide detailed instructions to your staff and they will be able to accurately reproduce all of the conditions (pressure, temperature and time) every time they press.
